Masseto is a prestige Italian red from the Bolgheri area on the Tuscan coast, produced as a 100% Merlot from a single vineyard of heavy clay soils.

Created in the 1980s by Lodovico Antinori, it is known for dense structure, high but balanced alcohol, and powerful yet fresh Merlot with great ageing potential.
